Antigens are checked — antigens play a significant role in compatibility; pregnant women have more antigens.

Doctor Verification
Doctor in the blood bank verifies the request before providing blood units.

Blood Units Provided
Blood units are provided as per request.

For government hospital patients – completely FREE

For outside/private hospital requests – service charge of ₹500 paid, amount goes to treasury.

Emergency Cases
For emergency cases – all blood components are provided at ₹500 to outside hospitals; government hospital patients get it FREE.
